A safe space for big adventures
Basecamp is a unique adventure based residential activity programme nestled in the heart of rural Suffolk. It is meticulously designed to strengthen confidence, teamwork and a build wider understanding of the world around us whilst meeting key national curriculum learning objectives.
When visiting Basecamp, you will take part in team-building activities as well as doing things that may challenge and stretch you individually. The activities could include archery, low-ropes, zip-wire, laser-tag, and several water-based activities, to name a few! It’s a fun, and safe, space to try new things, all supported by caring and qualified team members. Contact Josh and the team to find out more about what’s on offer.

Activities available
ZIP WIRE
Our zip wire has been constructed over the Vauxhall lake, where groups can zip down the wire, soaring above the heads of their friends below on the water. A great activity to challenge confidence and overcome fears.
Team BuildingGames |
Mixed, mini team challenges, allowing the teams to assess their strengths and any weaknesses which can be developed during their stay. This aims to celebrate the importance of coming together to achieve together.
Nightline
A course, which on the face of it is easy to complete, with the catch being your sense of sight is removed with blindfolds. This activity encourages the group to use other senses to navigate and communicate to complete the course successfully.
(Offered in Basecamp 4 & 5 programmes)
Laser Tag
One of our most popular activities, thinking about teamwork and tactics. Using the vast outdoor spaces of the campsite or transforming the Sports Hall into an indoor arena, we cover a variety of different games with different objectives, from knock out rounds to domination.
(Offered in Basecamp 4 & 5 programmes)
INTERNATIONAL COOKING
Inspired by Forest Schools, a session which transports groups to kitchens around the world, learning new recipes, their origins and all cooked outside on an open fire.
